What are the Public Holidays in Armenia?

In Armenia, employees are entitled to 12 public holidays per year. These holidays are recognized nationwide, and when a public holiday falls on a weekend, an additional day off is typically granted to employees.
Public Holidays:
- January 1st - 2nd: New Year’s Holidays
- January 6th: Christmas Day (celebrated with Epiphany)
- January 27th : Day of Remembrance of Those Fallen in the Defense of the Homeland
- January 28th: National Army Day
- March 8th: International Women’s Day
- April 24th: Genocide Victims' Commemoration Day
- May 1st: Labor Day
- May 9th: Victory and Peace Day
- May 28th: Republic Day (of the First Republic)
- July 5th: Constitution Day
- September 21st: Independence Day
- December 31st: New Year’s Eve
Weekend Public Holidays
- When a public holiday falls on a weekend, by default, an additional holiday is provided, ensuring employees receive a day off to compensate.
