How to add a rest day on my timesheet

Non-Standard Workweeks (Adjusting Rest Days)

Q: What if my workweek doesn’t follow Monday–Friday?
A:

  1. Click “+ Rest Day” to assign your regular rest day(s) (must match your employment agreement).
    • Example: If contracted for Monday–Friday work, Saturday and Sunday should be selected as rest days.
    • If your employment doesn’t specify days, follow your manager’s instruction of roster plan

Note:

  • Rest days differ from paid leave, public holidays, or sick leave.
  • Incorrect selections may confuse stakeholders

 


A rest day is meant to represent an employee's regular rest days during a week, not a leave approved day.


To add a rest day on a certain day, the employees just need to access the monthly timesheet, and click on:

[1] - "+ Rest Day" 

[2] - Select the days to be marked as rest day

[3] - Click on "Save"

 



The days marked as rest day will be displayed with a yellow background color [1]. These days can still allow employees to input working time. [2] [3]

 


To delete a day marked before as rest day, the employees just need to click on "+ Add rest day" and unselect the days previously marked.
