What are the Probation Periods Horizons offers in Turkey?

Horizons includes probation periods in its employment agreements in Turkey to facilitate a structured evaluation process during the initial phase of employment.

The maximum probation period allowed under Turkish labor law is 2 months. During this time, both the employee and employer have the flexibility to assess the suitability of the role without long-term commitment.

During the probation (or “trial”) period, either party can terminate the employment agreement with no notice period and no severance payment required. This provides a risk-free trial phase for both sides.

The probation period serves as an opportunity to evaluate job fit, performance, and compatibility with company expectations while ensuring compliance with Turkish labor law.
