- Friday, 3 April – Good Friday
- Sunday, 5 April – Easter Sunday (statutory paid holiday)
- Monday, 6 April – Easter Monday
- Friday, 1 May – Labour Day
- Monday, 4 May – Restoration of Independence Day
- Tuesday, 23 June – Midsummer’s Eve (Līgo Day)
- Wednesday, 24 June – St. John’s Day (Jāņi Day)
- Wednesday, 18 November – Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia
- Thursday, 24 December – Christmas Eve
- Friday, 25 December – Christmas Day
- Saturday, 26 December – Second Day of Christmas
- Thursday, 31 December – New Year’s Eve
Notes:
- Latvia grants 14 statutory paid public holidays per year.
- If a public holiday falls on a weekend, no compensatory day off is provided, except for May 4, which may be moved to the following Monday.
- Mother’s Day (10 May 2026) and Pentecost (24 May 2026) are widely observed but are not statutory public holidays.
- New Year’s Eve (31 December) is commonly observed, but not guaranteed as a paid day off unless specified by employer agreements.
