How to submit your resignation via the Horizons Platform?
At Horizons, we understand that career changes are a natural part of professional growth. If you decide to resign from your role, our goal is to ensure that the process is smooth, compliant with local labor laws, and respectful to all parties involved.
While Horizons is your legal employer, the client company manages your day-to-day work. As such, we strongly recommend that you discuss your resignation with your line manager before submitting it via the Horizons platform or at the very least, inform them at the same time. This helps maintain a professional relationship and ensures a coordinated handover.
Once your resignation is submitted in the platform, Horizons will immediately notify the client and begin coordinating the offboarding process with both you and the client company.
Steps to Submit Your Resignation
Step 1: Log in to the Horizons Platform
Visit the Horizons platform and log in with your credentials. Once logged in, navigate to “My Profile” from the main dashboard.
Step 2: Click on “Actions”
In your profile view, click the “Actions” button. A dropdown menu will appear with several options.
Step 3: Select “Resign”
Click on “Resign” from the dropdown list. This is the formal way to notify Horizons of your decision to end your employment.
Step 4: Select Your Final Working Day and Confirm
Choose your desired final working day.
Important: Be sure to review your employment contract to ensure you are respecting the legally required notice period for your country.
Tick the confirmation checkbox and click “Confirm” to submit your resignation.
What Happens Next?
Once your resignation is submitted, Horizons will:
Notify the client company of your resignation.
Reach out to you directly to confirm your intended final working day.
Ensure that your notice period and any final obligations (e.g., unused leave, final payroll) are correctly calculated and documented.
Coordinate with the client company to manage a smooth offboarding process.
You will receive ongoing support from the Horizons team throughout this process, and we are here to answer any questions you may have regarding your final pay, documentation, or exit formalities.
